The tempered glass door effortlessly glides at the operator’s touch – opening to a generous load chamber with a large door clearance. The automatic sliding door saves floor space by eliminating manually swinging doors and provides a complete view of the chamber. The door stops immediately if the switch is released or the door is obstructed. A new cycle will not start until door is completely sealed. The illuminated chamber during all operations makes it easy to overview the process.

Product Description
The Getinge 9100 Series features the PACS 3500 microprocessor control system with 12 operator ready cycles to choose from. Units can be recessed in a shallow 6inch (150 mm) pit for level floor loading or mounted directly on the floor with ramp for loading and unloading. The 9100 are standard with an exclusive full view, power sliding glass door for loading and unloading operations. All models feature vertically mounted, lateral sweeping, jet spray manifold system mounted along both walls of the chamber, level walkable flooring, selectable power floor tilt, and integrated hot air drying. Circulation and heating system is packaged on the service side of the machine and includes two peristaltic chemical dosing pumps, with flow control monitoring (standard) enclosed steam heat exchanger main wash pump, drain pump, self-cleaning filter and effluent drain cool down tank. Optional wash solution saving tanks help reduce consumptions and speed transition to the next cycle.
Pit depth only 150 mm
The shallow pit means that the Getinge 9100 can be installed in most buildings without any problem. In addition, the shallow sump holds little water, thus minimizing water and detergent consumption and reducing heat-up times.
Lateral washing system
In addition to spray arms between all levels of the manifold wash carts, the Getinge 9100-series has a lateral side-washing system. This ensures superior cleaning results, as the water jets continuously reach both the inside and outside of all types of items.
Booster and saving tanks
In order to reduce cycle times, an optional booster tank can be installed. Saving tanks for reduction of detergent and water consumption and cycle times are also available as options.
Unique docking to cart
To make loading and unloading as simple as possible, the Getinge 9100-series has a flat floor. Thanks to the new automatic docking to the manifold wash carts, the floor remains smooth, even when using carts requiring a water connection from below.
Outstanding drying system
The drying air passes through a HEPA filter and an air-toair heat exchanger before entering the chamber through multiple entry ports. The turbulent air conditions reduce the drying time to a minimum.

Oscillating Jet-Spray Manifold Oscillating, lateral sweeping, vertical jet-spray manifolds with 128 spray jets evenly distributed throughout the chamber provide full load coverage during the entire cycle for optimum cleaning. Both tubes and jets are easily removable without tools for easy maintenance. Non-recirculated, vented, drying system A powerful brushless fan motor forces fresh air through steam coils to reach peak temperature in seconds. Turbulent hot air is forced through 20 chamber ports for rapid drying. Optional power tilt raises the floor on one side to drain excess water and facilitate thorough drying. Heat exchanger uses hot exhaust air to heat fresh, incoming air. Vented air gap helps to dry the chamber air that enters through the building exhaust vent. |

Each manifold nozzle is easily removed with a simple quarter-turn. Each parallel manifold pipe is spring loaded and is easily removed by pulling down until the top of the pipe is free. After cleaning, the manifold pipe is reinserted, and the spring is compressed until the top of the pipe can be inserted into the upper manifold.

THE OPTIMAL FLOOR SYSTEM
In-floor trolley docking.
To make loading and unloading as simple as possible, the Getinge 9100-series has a flat floor. When using trolleys with spray arms, the docking is done automatically. The integrated controller automatically alternates pump pressure between chamber-wall manifolds and trolley injector. Water pressure lifts injector to connect with manifold-wash cart, sending wash and rinse solutions through spray arms to internal surfaces of containers. The injector automatically seals if the manifold trolley is not being used.
Easy floor loading.
Loading is level with the floor in pit-mounted applications. When the unit must be mounted on the floor – a modest 6" incline ramp makes loading easy.
Flat chamber floor.
Provides a safe, level surface to walk on when loading and unloading heavy carts and trolleys – free of all tracks for wheels or tilting carts. Transition plate.
Automatically extends to cover sliding door track, providing a smooth transition into the chamber for wheels of all sizes. Prevents damage to bottom door gasket. Automatically retracts when door’s close button is pressed.
Power floor tilt.
Automatically raises one side of the chamber floor to slope and drain closed case carts following final rinse. Floor is automatically returned to level at completion of cycle for ease of unloading and subsequent loading.

It is no longer possible for the door to accidentally swing closed during loading or unloading operations, or during routine inspections of the chamber.

Innovative shallow pit construction
The shallow pit of only 150 mm (6 inches) means that the Getinge 9100-series can be installed in most buildings without any problem. In addition, the sump holds a small volume of water, which in turn results in low water and detergent consumption and short heat-up times.
