The new Cage and Utensil Tunnel Washers are designed to clean, sanitize, and dry metal or plastic cages, utensils and racked watering bottles in animal research laboratories. These highly automated, heavy-duty, tunnel-type, hydro-spray washers are designed for continuous high-volume processing. Units can be recessed in one or two walls, or installed freestanding.

Product Description
The GETINGE CM320-series are multi-purpose, modular composed and fully automatic multi-chamber index washer disinfectors available as 2, 3, 4 or 5 chamber version. Wash-, Drying and Ultrasonic Modules are independently monitored and can be configured according to the specific requirements. With a capacity of15 DIN trays, this index washer disinfector is dedicated to handle large volumes of goods within the shortest time and at the highest level of hygiene.
Getinge CM320 features an advanced, but user-friendly control system. A scanner automatically reads the barcodes, selects the right process and runs through every step automatically. The automatic loading and unloading conveyors further helps the work in transporting the wash carts to the washer-disinfector and allows for an ergonomically safe and time efficient process.

Automatic Five Phase Treatment Cycle
The standard treatment cycle consists of a pre-wash, an agent wash, a recirculated rinse, a non-recirculated fresh hot potable water rinse and a hot air dryer system. The agent wash and recirculated rinse treatments are recirculated under pump pressure. The cycle, once activated, is completely automatic.
Wash And Rinse Treatment Temperature Guarantee
The wash and rinse temperatures are guaranteed to insure that minimum treatment temperatures are attained and maintained. Should the temperature guarantee set points not be attained or maintained, the conveyor belt will temporarily stop until the treatment solution reaches the set-point temperature. All temperature guarantee variances are annunciated to the operator.
Hydraulic Hold Down System
Spray header throttle valves are properly sized and positioned to hydraulically hold down light plastic cages and steel pans to the conveyor belt.
Water Conservation
The hot tap final rinse water is sprayed through the jet system and collected in the rinse tank. The water is used for the recirculated wash, rinse and pre-wash for water and energy conservation.
Removable side-hinged doors facilitate access to the chamber interior. Each door incorporates a large, water-tight tempered glass panel for full observation of the treatment process.
