The 86-Series and 88 Turbo Washer-Disinfectors offers a wide variety of materials handeling accessories, maximizing productivity. Each is designed to provide flexibility and versatility be this for processing general instruments, microsurgery instruments, orthopedic sets, anesthesia materials, glassware, minimal invasive instruments or utensils. All accessories are constructed of stainless steel for long life under severe conditions. Each wash cart is electro-polished to a smooth finish and will not be affected by the various cleaning chemicals used, or by the thermal disinfection temperature.
Note:
Getinge 8666 and 8668 Washer-Disinfectors are identical except for the depth of each unit's chamber. Model 8666 provides 11.1 cu ft of load capacity and accomodates a maximum of 12 DIN trays per load. Model 8668 offers 12.3 cu ft of load capacity and can process up to 15 DIN trays per load. Accessories can be used for both models, unless specified (and keeping in mind the difference in the chamber depth's)
The Getinge 88 Turbo Washer-Disinfector is identical to the Getinge 8668, but offers shortned cycle times due to its unique ability to mult-task during the cycle.

All wash carts are designed with manifold side ports that connect to the output from the circulation pump. The design of the wash cart delivers pressurized cleaning and rinsing solutions to rotary spray arms below each wash cart shelf. A top and bottom rotary spray arm inside the chamber provides complete coverage. Each wash cart is mounted on wheels for easy movement in and out of the chamber, and for overall loading, unloading and transfer of equipment. | These wash carts are designed with 2, 3 or 4 shelves for loading a wide variety of instrument trays or sets. Each upper shelf and the rotary spray arm directly below can be removed to increase loading space when required. A 4-level wash cart can be converted into a 2-level wash cart in seconds. | ||

THe 86-Series and 88 Turbo operate with a space saving, vertical sliding door on one or both sides of the pass-through operation. Doors can be specified for power or manual operation and loading/unloading can be manual, automated or a combination of both. Each manifold wash cart is equipped standard with side-mounted magnets that can be used similar to bar coding, to automatically select and start a user specified cycle, when used with automaated loading and unloading systems. Loaded wash carts can be handled in a variety of different methods, as outlined below.
