The Japanese word Poka-Yoke stands
for a concept that makes errors impossible.
When Getinge designed the
new Getinge Poka-Yoke AER and its
accessories, Poka-Yoke thinking was
applied. We built it into the product,
and into the workflow around the
product. The complete range, including
accessories, has been carefully
thought through to make things both
simple and secure. |

The pre-treatment unit is made of composite material with a long shallow sink
placed in the middle to facilitate pre-cleaning of flexible endoscopes. The wall is
protected by an integrated 60 mm splash-edge, and is wall-mounted on 4 brackets
for easy cleaning of the floor. The pre-treatment unit is universal and can be placed
in any direction. It is prepared for docking/locking of storage trolleys and a waste
trolley.

The "U"-shaped transfer table serves as a barrier between the soiled and clean
sides. It has the same shape as the Getinge Poka-Yoke AER and is wall-mounted
on 2 wall brackets to facilitate cleaning of the floor.

The clean table is suitable for re-assembly of endoscopes after reprocessing. It is
made of composite material and is equipped with a protective 60 mm splash-edge
against the wall. It is wall-mounted on 2 wall-brackets, which facilitates cleaning of
the floor. The clean table is prepared for docking/locking of either a storage trolley
or a waste trolley.

The chemical storage trolley can be locked to the pre-cleaning unit for safe storage
of chemicals. The trolley holds 2 disinfectant bottles and 3 detergent bottles. It has
an adjustable handle that is used during transport and when docking the trolley
to the pre-cleaning unit. Four swivel wheels (2 of which are lockable) ensure safe
transport from your buffer storage.

used during transport and when docking the trolley to the pre-cleaning unit. Four
swivel wheels (2 of which are lockable) ensure safe transport from your buffer storage.
Lockable with key to the pre-treatment unit for safe storage. This unit also fits
under the clean table.

The waste trolley is designed to be placed next to the Poka-Yoke AER and is suitable
for general waste such as gloves, brushes etc used in the pre-cleaning area. It
is lockable to the pre-cleaning unit. A foot-pedal is used for tilting, thus keeping your
hands free. A gas cylinder assures soft self-closing after use. Three wheels and a
handle facilitate moving.

The wall-rail serves as a multi-purpose holder. It is easy to keep clean, and space is
provided for electrical cabling. It is mounted directly on the wall and allows mounting
of accessories such as chart, connector and printer holders. All holders are
easy to attach and reposition.

The holder for the thermo-transfer printer assures that your documentation is close
at hand. It is mounted on the wall rail and helps keep the tabletop area clear. The
printer holder is adjustable and has a swivel function.

Mounted on the wall-rail, the swivel chart holder keeps instructions for use/manual
pre-cleaning etc close at hand. It is adjustable in height and moveable to the side.
The front is possible to flip, giving easy access for everyone in the department. The
holder includes up to ten A4 plastic holders for instructions.

Mounted on the wall-rail, the connector holder transfers bags with clean connectors
back to the soiled side for storage and re-use. The sliding angle makes sure
the connectors are transferred back to the soiled side and that they are available
when you need them.

A disposable plastic bag suitable for return and storage of connector holders. To
maintain full control of the connector kits, the bag is transparent and has a label for
notes. The bag is perforated to allow ventilation.
