Getinge VS-series sterilizers are also suitable for field sterilization applications, as they are steam-heated by built-in electrical elements.
The chamber - made of solid, acid-proof stainless steel - is precision robot-welded for consistent superior quality, designed/tested in accordance with pressure vessel norm European Directive 97/23/CE. The lid is made of stainless steel. A stainless steel cover houses all piping components.
