Black pads are anti-static and conductive. Colored pads are anti-static but non-conductive. Materials are virgin in origin and comply with translucent requirements for all standard imaging and x-ray equipment. Products are constructed with non-penetrable surfaces.

Multifunctional: The modular design of the table top is the basis for the great adaptability to specific surgical disciplines and patient statures. The simple “Easy Click” function permits easy interchanging of the modules. The “reverse mode”, in which the patient position is reversed 180° head-to-foot, permits additional positioning and surgical possibilities. There are no crossbars in the operating table, neither in the head plate, back plate, seat plate nor the leg plates, eliminating any interference with intraoperative fluoroscopy.

The Alpha2 features an optional hand control panel, an IR-control panel and a foot switch. There is also a control panel at the head of the column for emergency situations.

Table Extension :

This extension device makes possible trouble-free treatment of the extremities under traction; it is used in conjunction with a universal operating table. The functional principle utilized here is the bar and socket system, acknowledged for years now due to its easy handling; this tried-and-tested concept has proven its worth in practice at the Alpha2 extension table tops and the Alpha2 extension tables.

The simple and sure mounting of the extension device to the operating tables is effected with the assistance of a practical transport cart which also accommodates the required accessory components. This transport cart is included in the standard scope of supply.
