Cool Transport Supply
(By the way, the same goes also to transportation of smaller quantities edible goods to the food (like vegetables and fish) to supermarkets, particularly when transportation occurs in the warmer environments).
The current option provides the (flexible) use of a Mobile van, an alternatives means to the conventional utilization of larger dedicated refrigerated trucks.
This van can be used for all other transport, including the current suggested use for the "removable" Coolbox whereby the medical goods may initially be stored and cooled externally in the stores of the supplier, prior to the movement of Coolbox and its pre-cooled contents into the van at the moment of supply to the hospital.
During the initial period of the products storage of the goods supplier, the Coolbox operates on 230 volts; during subsequent transit in the van to the hospital it is maintained at the desired temperature (within 2 C temperature variation)by a 12 volts source from the van.
Since in this concept, no dedicated refrigerated van (having specially insulated walls on its 6 faces) is required, - rather an external Coolbox which is pushed into the empty space in the van when required, this van retains its multipurpose feature.
The resale value of a dedicated refrigerated van is low for multipurpose utilization; the current approach to use "removable" Coolbox is an optimized approach which also permits the "flexible" utilization of the van but also ensures retaining of its normal resale value.
There are different Coolbox sizes, each to fit different van supplier's dimension.
Each Coolbox is retrofitted for different vans and sizes.
Also for the requirement as Low Temperature Freezer, or Cooler or combination.
There is a digital output on a panel on the Coolbox, but also the possibility for continuous electronic registry of the temperature variation during the transit period.
